 Ganadera Karla Mary S.A., owned by Carlos Lee, is located in Aguadulce, Panama, and is quickly becoming one of Panama’s top Brahman cattle operations.
Carlos became involved in the cattle industry by operating a 2000-head feed yard in Panama.
He chose Brahman cattle to crossbreed with and improve the cattle in his own feed yard.
Carlos believed in building his herd with superior genetics. In 2004, he traveled to the Houston Livestock Show to visit top Brahman ranches. He selected top genetics from V8 Ranch, J.D. Hudgins, Inc., Heritage Cattle Company, and Tic-Tac-Toe Ranch to build his foundation herd.
Carlos called upon Luis “Lou” Rocha, of American Genetics International to assist him in purchasing and marketing his Brahman genetics. American Genetics is the primary advisor and executor of Ganadera Karla Mary in the U.S.
 Today, Carlos has top donor cows in Panama, born from embryos imported from the U.S. These genetics, including live animals, semen, and embryos, are available for export worldwide, including to South and Central America.
In Panama, Carlos operates a feed yard, ranch, and embryo transfer center. During baseball season, Carlos’ family and business partners assist him by successfully managing his ventures in Panama. Today’s technology allows him to be actively involved in personally guiding the development and daily activities of his Brahman herd in Panama.
